Portfolio
I've written hundreds of interviews, features, reviews, and thought leadership pieces, and traveled to nearly 20 countries to cover product launches, press events, and more.

These are some of my favorite pieces of work, and those that best demonstrate my abilities.
Editing and ghostwriting
I spent over three years helping leading artificial intelligence specialist and chief data and analytics officer at First National Bank Risk, Dr. Mark Nasila, turn his research into AI into compelling features and articles.

When Mark wanted to take the project further and publish his first book on AI, he enlisted me to help. Together, we distilled hundreds of thousands of words from hundreds of sources into a 438-page book entitled African Artificial Intelligence which was published in June 2024.

The book offers a comprehensive look at AI’s ascent over the last decade, and unpacks its effects on everything from agriculture and aviation to healthcare, education, entertainment, crime prevention, energy management, policy creation, finance, and more.

Using unexpected use cases and tales of cutting-edge innovation, Mark argues that harnessing AI to solve Africa’s problems requires embracing it from an African perspective. African nations can’t afford to import AI solutions from afar. Instead, he contends, they need to rework, remix, and refine AI so it can meet uniquely African challenges in uniquely African ways.
